What We’re Looking For
Show me your tiny art.
Metal Haus Gallery invites completed artworks and proposals for XXXXXS, a group exhibition celebrating tiny works with a big presence. Subject matter is open. Representational and abstract approaches are equally welcome across painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, fiber, mixed media, installation, and other visual-art practices. Standalone 2D photography is not accepted; photographic elements incorporated into mixed-media work may be considered.
Completed Works
Completed artworks count toward the limit of 3 total entries per artist. Flat artwork must measure no more than 4 × 4 inches, excluding framing; framed dimensions may not exceed 6 × 6 inches. Sculptural work must fit within 4 × 4 × 4 inches. Include one image, title, materials, dimensions, retail price, and any special display requirements for each work.
Proposals for New Work
Have an idea for something tiny? Proposals count toward the same limit of 3 total entries per artist. Include one sketch, drawing, or digital mockup and a short description of your materials and approach for each proposal. For each accepted proposal, Metal Haus Gallery will provide one 4 × 4 × 2-inch wood panel to create the work on. Finished proposal works must stay within 4 × 4 × 4 inches.
One application per artist, with up to 3 entries total: completed artworks, proposals for new work, or a combination of both. Applications are free. We just want to see some cool art.

Accepted work must arrive finished, ready for exhibition, and available for the full exhibition.
Delivery and Return
Local drop-off and pickup are available. Artists are responsible for delivering or shipping accepted artwork to Metal Haus Gallery. MHG covers return shipping for any unsold work.
Sales
Artwork prices may vary. MHG operates on a 50/50 gallery–artist consignment agreement.
Exhibition Timeline
Application deadline: November 25, 2026
Proposed exhibition dates, pending final confirmation:
Artwork delivery: January 16–22, 2027
Exhibition: February 6–March 27, 2027
Opening reception: Saturday, February 6, 2027
Artist notification and panel delivery dates will be confirmed.

Metal Haus Gallery is an intimate home gallery in San Francisco. XXXXXS brings together tiny artworks that invite visitors to slow down, lean in, and discover how much a small space can hold.
Across image, material, texture, and dimension, each artist brings a distinct perspective to the miniature format. Completed works and new ideas share one invitation: look closer.
