Still Becoming explores blooming as a continual process of transformation rather than a single moment in nature. Beginning with crystalline structures inspired by patterns of natural growth, the composition is developed through successive stages of digital layering before returning to the painted surface, where forms are reshaped through intuitive mark-making.
As geometric structures are compressed, repeated, and transformed, they shift between mineral, botanical, and abstract forms. Balancing digital processes with the physical act of painting, the work reflects on growth as an evolving state—one defined by adaptation, change, and the interplay between structure and intuition.
